CIG Motors Co. Limited has begun on a soft landing since 2013 following a pact signed with Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Limited (GAC MOTOR) to establish and manage distribution network in Nigeria, Africa. The group, headquartered in Guangzhou China, launched business operation in Nigeria at the peak of Automobile boom based on Government advocacy for the production of brand new vehicles in Nigeria.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Chief Executive Officer in managing a dynamic schedule, internal and external communications, and strategic priorities.
  • This role requires a trusted professional who can anticipate needs, coordinate complex schedules, and provide seamless support in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in an Executive-level support role, ideally within a listed or large organisation.
  • Confidence in liaising with senior directors, stakeholders, and their executive assistants.
  • Flexibility to manage fluctuating workloads and shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate sensitive situations.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Requirements

  • 4 – 5 years Executive-level EA experience in a corporate or listed company.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior directors and their assistants.
  • Flexible and composed under varying workloads.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Initiative-driven, collaborative, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Committed to confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and document preparation skills.
  • Keen to understand business context and strategic implications of tasks.
