Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Ejigbo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons that incorporate 21st-century teaching methodologies.
  • Foster creativity and innovation in the classroom, encouraging students to explore and express their ideas.
  • Develop students’ communication skills with a strong emphasis on good diction and effective expression.
  • Utilise technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular projects
  • that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum academic qualification of HND, BSc., or master’s degree in English language.
  • Preferably IGCSE Certified
  • Relevant experience in preparing students in private schools for external examinations (SSCE, JSCE).
  • Experience Length : 3 – 5 years
  • Applicable understanding of the use of 21st-century modern educational technologies and teaching tools in or out of the classroom.
  • Essential social and interpersonal skills are required within the school community
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language.
  • A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Must reside within Ejigbo or in very close proximity.
  • Must be available to resume as soon as possible.

Salary
Negotiable based on qualification and experience.
