Job Summary

  • The Head of Engineering at Thelix Holdings leads the engineering department, overseeing the development and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving innovation.
  • This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver high-quality products or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the engineering strategy in line with the company’s objectives, fostering innovation and ensuring the adoption of best practices.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, promoting professional development and ensuring high performance.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with the CEO, other executives, and stakeholders to integrate technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the engineering budget and allocate resources effectively to support project needs and organizational priorities.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and maintain efficient engineering processes, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and make informed decisions on high-level architecture and design choices.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in engineering projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, with a track record of managing successful engineering teams and projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of engineering principles, methodologies, and technologies relevant to the company’s industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, aligning engineering initiatives with business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges effectively.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in Tech/CyberSecurity Field is advantageous.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications are desired.
