MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices is a result-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide reproductive health care and allied services. MSI Nigeria’s goal is to meet the needs of underserved Nigerians and dramatically improve access and use of a range of reproductive health services. MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices is part of Marie Stopes International’s Global Partnership which is in over 37 countries worldwide and it operates in Nigeria through six service delivery channels.
Objectives:
The objective of this engagement is to select a qualified recruitment agency to support MSIN in identifying, assessing, and onboarding top talent for critical positions. The recruitment agency will ensure that MSIN attracts the best candidates who align with its mission and values, thereby enhancing organizational performance and long-term sustainability.
Scope Of Work:
The recruitment agency will perform the following tasks:
- Talent Sourcing: Identify suitable candidates for designated roles using a variety of methods, including advertising, headhunting, and using of professional networks.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for MSIN.
- Interview Coordination: Manage and schedule interviews between shortlisted candidates and MSIN’s recruitment team.
- Reference Checks: Conduct detailed reference and background checks for shortlisted candidates.
- Compliance & Vetting: Ensure successful candidates are vetted (in line with MSIN recruitment policy) before offer of employment.
- Salary Benchmarking: Provide insights and benchmarking data for competitive remuneration.
- Onboarding Support: Assist with final offer negotiation and support the smooth onboarding of successful candidates.
3. Deliverables
The recruitment agency will deliver:
- A pool of qualified and vetted candidates for each designated role.
- Detailed candidate profiles, including educational qualifications, government-issued ID, birth certificate, CVs, pre-screening summaries, and reference check reports.
4. Performance Metrics:
Quality and relevance of shortlisted candidates.
Adherence to agreed timelines for delivering results.
Positive feedback from hiring managers on candidates’ suitability.
5. Payment Terms:
The Consultant shall be remunerated on a success fee basis of 10% of the gross annual compensation package of each candidate successfully recruited into MSIN.
Payment shall be made upon the candidate’s commencement of employment with the organization.
All other terms will be as stipulated in the Consultancy Agreement.
6. Required Skills and Experience
The ideal recruitment agency must demonstrate the following:
- A reputable firm with a minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment services.
- Proven expertise in recruiting for the reproductive health sector or INGO-related sector.
- Ability to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns and deliver under tight timelines.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor market dynamics, particularly in Nigeria.
- Access to a robust talent pipeline, including professionals in healthcare, management, and social enterprise.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to ensure seamless collaboration.
7. Proposal Submission
Interested agencies are required to submit the following documentation:
- Company Profile: Including years of experience, areas of specialization, and an overview of recruitment methodologies.
- Portfolio: Examples of similar projects handled successfully in the last three years, including client references and testimonials.
- Proposed Approach: Detailed methodology for delivering the scope of work outlined above.
- Pricing: A comprehensive fee structure, including any applicable taxes or additional costs.
8. Duration of Contract
The recruitment agency will be engaged for a period of two (2) years, commencing February 1, 2025. Regular progress reviews will be conducted to ensure alignment with MSIN’s requirements.
9. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Experience and Expertise: Proven track record in recruitment for similar organizations.
- Quality of Proposal: Clear methodology and approach.
- Cost-Effectiveness: Competitive pricing aligned with MSIN’s budget.
- Pro-Choice
- References: Positive feedback from previous clients.
10. Disclaimer
MSIN reserves the right to:
- Adjust the scope, duration, and terms of this TOR as needed.
- Select or reject any or all proposals without prior explanation.
Modify or cancel this engagement process at any stage, without obligation to reimburse or compensate applicants.
