Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician experienced in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on construction sites.
- The ideal candidate must be proficient in cable conduit installation, wiring, termination and control panel setup, with strong hands-on skills using electrical tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install cable conduits, wiring, and electrical fixtures according to project plans.
- Install and set up control panels on site.
- Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Use electrical tools and testing equipment effectively and safely.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and construction schematics.
- Follow safety protocols and site regulations.
- Report faults or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with commissioning and handover of electrical systems.
Requirements
- NABTEC, National Diploma (ND) or relevant technical certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology.
- Proven experience in installing cable conduits, wiring, and control panels.
- Skilled and comfortable using electrical tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of Nigerian electrical safety standards and construction site protocols.
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good team player with effective communication skills.
