Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and instrumentation issues.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure optimal system performance.
- Document all maintenance and repair work accurately.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical instrumentation systems for manufacturing industry.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the workplace.
- Troubleshoot issues related to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, transformers, and VFDs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes through efficient use of electrical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Electrical, Diploma in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication
- Minimum of 8years of experience in electrical instrumentation.
- Certification in instrumentation and control systems is a plus.
- Candidates residing within close proximity such as kaduna, Abuja and Niger State will be given priority consideration.
Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
