Job Description
- Responsible for conducting Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance activities, including planned, unplanned, and breakdown maintenance of measuring instruments and equipment in Power Plant.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monitoring, preventive maintenance, and repairs for electrical components in the Power Plant.
- Ensure equipment health checks including feeders, transformers, power supply panels, motors, and battery banks.
- Guide technicians in troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
- Maintain proper housekeeping for field equipment and panels.
- Follow safety protocols and report near-miss incidents.
Requirements
- HND in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Minimum of 10years in Operations & Maintenance (O&M), project execution, and commissioning in process-based industries, preferably Power and Steel Manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&I diagrams, and equipment like drives, control valves, and actuators.
- Experience working with voltage levels from 33KV down to 415 volts.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of safety norms for electrical equipment and adherence to them.
