Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting personnel, clients, or goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- You must have a good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations, and maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company staff, clients, and materials to and from assigned locations.
- Ensure daily inspection of vehicle condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere strictly to road safety rules, traffic laws, and company driving policies.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle trips, fuel consumption, and mileage.
- Keep assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and in proper working condition.
- Monitor vehicle documents (e.g., insurance, license, roadworthiness) and ensure timely renewal.
- Assist in loading/unloading of goods and supporting logistics activities when required.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy toward passengers and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND.
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience in Lagos.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos routes, traffic patterns, and alternative roads.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours if needed.
- Good record of vehicle maintenance and accident-free driving.
