Job Description
- We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Driver to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
- As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting our clients and employees to various destinations across the city, ensuring a comfortable and timely experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport clients and employees to designated locations throughout Lagos and surrounding areas
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed
- Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle at all times
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems and knowledge of local roads to avoid traffic congestion
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger needs and concerns promptly and professionally
- Adapt to changing schedules and last-minute requests with flexibility and a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Thorough knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Team player mentality with the ability to work independently when required
- High standards of personal grooming and presentation
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Physical ability to assist with luggage and passenger needs
- Attention to detail in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing required documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a professional driver or in the transportation industry is a plus.
