Job Title: Director, Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement

Job Summary
- The Director, Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement will be responsible for shaping and executing the organisation’s strategic direction, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare sector.
- This role will be responsible for ensuring that strategic initiatives are aligned with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements, driving sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery.
- The position will be responsible for championing collaboration, innovation, and accountability, directly supporting the agency’s mission to enhance patient care and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of organisational strategies and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes
- Will be responsible for overseeing the integration of legal, compliance, quality assurance, and research functions to ensure cohesive and effective operations.
- Build and maintain productive partnerships with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor direct reports to achieve departmental and organisational goals.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement and risk management.
Qualifications
- 15 to 20 years’ progressive experience in business administration, healthcare, strategy, consulting, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Public Health, or a related discipline; Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., MBA, MPA, PMP) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to drive organisational change and deliver measurable results in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Must be a resident of Imo State or open to relocation.
