Job Title: Director of Sales & Marketing

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • As the Director of Sales, you will be expected to manage the operations of our sales team.
  • You must have the capability to build and lead a team of sales representatives, leading and motivating team members to achieve their sales goals and objectives.
  • You will also create and implement strategic sales plans that will helpbuild and develop enduring customer relationships with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead and motivate teams of Sales Representatives to develop customer relations, increase market share and sales revenue.
  • Design programs to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee sales team recruitment and create training programs to train new and existing employees in the sales department.
  • Monitor supply and demand, competitor offers, and costs to determine and adjust selling prices.
  • Forecast and create annual sales quotas for regions and territories to determine sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and results to determine annual unit and gross-profit plans.
  • Understand and communicate the organization’s value propositions and processes through proposals and presentations.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA will be a plus)
  • 5 – 10 years of Senior-level sales experience.
  • Prior experience in a leading real estate company is compulsory.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Work experience within the real estate sector is required.
  • Sales skills, including experience in managing sales teams, developing sales strategies, and meeting monthly sales targets for the team.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
  • Proficiency in Information tracking, Sales analytics, and PowerPoint presentation.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of the real estate market in Lagos is a must.
