Job Title: Digital Security Officer
Location: Zaria, Kaduna

Reports To: Security Coordinator/ Operations Manager
Job Summary
- The Driver will be responsible for combining traditional physical security duties with digital responsibilities, focusing on protecting both tangible assets and information systems. This hybrid role would involve physical security tasks like patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance, controlling access, and responding to alarms, alongside digital tasks such as data collection and record keeping in loading, offloading, goods movement and appliance usage using electronic devices.
- The ideal candidate will perform duties which often include monitoring activities in the warehouse, responding to emergency situations and keeping track of all incidents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that labourers are not sleeping or moving aimlessly inside the warehouse
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly adhered to in the factory
- Participate actively in monitoring and recording of all loading and offloading activities. Records should include:
- Crop
- Variety
- Driver’s Name
- Vehicle Type
- Vehicle Registration Number
- Driver’s Number
- Location of Dispatch
- Beneficiary
- Waybill Number
- GRN Number
- Weighbridge Details which must be in line with the GRN
- Maintain daily independent records of all labourers working inside the warehouse. Records should include:
- Names of labourers
- Location
- Age
- Gender
- Phone Number
- Take notes and document all activities that happen in the warehouse daily both manually and electronically
- Monitor and take notes of Stock Movement from Raw Materials to Processing to Finished Goods and Dispatch both manually and electronically
- Monitor and maintain records on non-factory staff that enter into the factory on a daily basis
- Attend to visitors during time of visit
- Close all windows and switch off all lights during close of the day or when need arises
- Monitor fire extinguishers and notify when they expire
- Operate the factory generators and keep records of their usages daily both manually and electronically
- Any other duties as assigned to meet organisational requirements
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
- Minimum qualification of ND or NCE
- Computer literate: Ability to use computer or tablets for recording
- Good physical health and stamina to withstand long hours of standing and rigorous activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and adherence to rules and regulations.
