Job Title:Culinary Instructor
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- She / he will train staff on the preparation, and presentation of meals and dishes in ways that meet set standards.
- The Culinary instructor will train staff in the preparation of specific meals like salads, desserts, pastries, and tea breaks for meetings
- She / he will train staff on regularly cleaning and sanitizing work equipment like fryers and various kitchen surfaces.
- She / he will train staff to ensure that the kitchen is always well-organized.
- She / he will train staff to ensure that food is prepared as fast as possible and that a standard taste level is maintained.
- She / he will train staff to ensure that food safety standards are adhered to.
- She / he will train staff to ensure that all set standards are adhered to.
- She / he will train the staff to ensure the food is prepared as fast as possible and maintain a standard taste level.
Requirements
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Culinary and Hospitality Management or its equivalent in any social science or related fields
- Additional professional certifications or a post-graduate qualification is an added advantage
- A minimum of five (5) years of previous work experience in catering
- A positive attitude and a willingness to provide exceptional service and to act as a leader in all culinary activities.
