Job Description
- The Corporate Business Lead will drive strategic business development efforts, manage broker relationships, and deepen the company’s presence across MDAs, NGOs, and public sector accounts.
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience in life insurance business acquisition, client relationship management, and must demonstrate strong leadership and revenue-driving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the corporate sales strategy for business development and client retention.
- Manage end-to-end broker and channel relationships.
- Engage and build long-term business partnerships with MDAs, NGOs, and key public sector clients.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within group life and annuity products.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and actuarial units to ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and proposals to executive clients.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly business development targets.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; professional qualifications in insurance (e.g. CIIN) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience in a similar corporate sales/business development role in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Life Insurance industry experience is highly preferred; general/composite experience can be considered.
- Proven experience in broker management and public sector engagement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance products, sales strategies, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Salary
N750,000 Monthly.
