Swift Consulting Limited – Our client in the Hospitality industry is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cook / Chef
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Major Responsibilities
- Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
- Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
- Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
- Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
- Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
- Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a minimum of O’level or OND degree.
- The ideal candidate must be able to prepare at least two or three of the following; Continental cuisine, Italian cuisine, Nigerian cuisine, and Chinese cuisine.
- Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read and write is compulsory.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
