We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Control Room Operator

Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Understand the Process and production requirement from the shift in charge, constantly communicate to the concerned area in charges to ensure smooth operation of plant.
  • Continuous observation/monitoring of operations parameters, controlling the equipment operation and gives instructions to operators to achieve Shift production target with quality and campaign life
  • Maintain shift log sheets, logbook, shell temperature, weigh feeder and communicate to concerned shift in-charge.
  • Inform shift in-charge in case any abnormality is observed during execution of work and seek guidance.
  • Ensure that all safety measures, interlocks, alarms are working and in conformance with the safe running of all equipment.
  • Read the previous shift logbook and understand the various operating parameters of the last shift operation process and proper man to man relieving in control room.
  • Communicate all departments mechanical, electrical, rmp and power plant.
  • Monitor and ensure safety norms are adhered to by all inside control room
  • Ensure high standard of housekeeping in control room
  • Reporting of accidents and incidents to shift in-charge immediately.

Requirements

  • B.Eng / HND in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field
  • 5 – 10 Years of experience preferably in a mining Industies.
  • Candidates living in Abuja, Niger, Kaduna States and its environs are preferred.
