Jos University Teaching Hospital, commissioned on Tuesday, 10th April 1990 by the then Honourable Minister for Health, Professor Alikoye Ransome-Kuti, is a Federal Tertiary Health Institution pursuing excellence in the provision of services, training and research. The mandate of its establishment is to provide health promotion, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services to the general population.

- Candidate must possess the fellowship of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or Fellowship of west African Post-Graduate Medical College.
- In addition,Candidates should have current practicing license by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
