Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and passionate ICT Teacher to educate students on information and communication technology.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons on computer literacy, programming, digital safety, and emerging technologies.
- The teacher will create a dynamic learning environment, assess student progress, and integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance learning. Strong technical knowledge, classroom management skills, and a passion for teaching are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive ICT lessons based on the curriculum.
- Teach students fundamental computer skills, coding, software applications, and internet safety.
- Introduce students to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Provide hands-on training in using hardware, software, and digital tools.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
- Foster a collaborative and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and creativity.
- Integrate technology into teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay updated with the latest ICT trends and advancements.
- Ensure students understand ethical and responsible use of technology.
- Collaborate with school administrators, colleagues, and parents to support student learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years ICT teaching experience
- Proficiency in programming languages, software applications, and networking basics.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
