Job Summary
- We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Company Driver to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, guests, and goods in a safe and timely manner while ensuring the proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.
Job Description
- Safely transport employees, visitors, and goods to various locations as assigned.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on the vehicle and notify the line manager of any issues
- Ensure adequate fueling of the vehicle before use
- Complete all trips within the stipulated time
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state and federal driving regulations
- Comply with all company safety policies.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report any faults or required repairs.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Reporting all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate travel logs and fuel records.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Run official errands and support logistics as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- At least 3 – 5 years of proven experience as a professional driver (corporate or private sector preferred).
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and Lagos routes (or relevant city)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good driving skills
- Ability to navigate roads both in and out of the state
- Good understanding of road signs
- Proven work experience as a CompanyDriver
- Physically fit and strong
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
