Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct HTS using highly efficient testing approaches including use of Risk assessment tool, ICT elicited contacts, and geomapping approaches for hotspot testing.
  • Account for all RTKs used by documenting appropriately the usage and consumption of such in the tools provided.
  • Document all services provided appropriately with age and sex disaggregation.
  • Report the testing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Report testing data as appropriate with age disaggregation in the source documents and ensures all clients are offered individualized or generalized pre-and post-test counselling.
  • Ensures all identified positive clients are linked to care same day or within 48 to 72 hrs. of identification to the health facility or community pharmacy and the community case managers can equally be deployed from his /her to other LGA with huge burden and unmet needs.
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities as occasion depends by supervisors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to work effectively with populations that have experienced vulnerability, trauma, economic poverty, incarceration, substance use, development delays, literacy issues, and/or other conditions or situations that have impacted housing stability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and able to multi-task.
  • Must be driven and solution-focused.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in HTS, adherence counselling, confidentiality not less than one year.
  • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS and antibody testing, PrEP and PEP, and community mobilization and advocacy
  • Skill/Experience in providing individualized and group HIV health education, HIV testing and Counseling.
  • Minimum of SSCE; OND/BSc will be an added advantage

Language Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Local Language will be an advantage
