Job Title: COGS Senior Analyst

About the Role
- Responsible to deliver accurate and on time COGS planning for RE/BP with appropriate analysis for country in area of responsibility and also prepare comprehensive period-end analysis of Raw & Pack material as per deadlines agreed with each BU Partnering with country finance team and ensure support with regards to Value chain calculations; Profitability analysis and ad-hoc requests in area of COGS. Propose improvements for optimization and standardization of templates and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead: Leads the process of COGS planning and raw & pack analysis for country in area of responsibility. Coordinate COGS planning input is collected on time and in-full by various stakeholders across BU and BSO (Commercial Finance; Manufacturing; Haulage; Planning; Demand planning).
- Partner: Cooperates with GA Costing team to ensure synergies between COGS planning process and Actual costing & Transfer pricing processes. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees in BSO GA and Country team (Finance; Planning; Procurement; Manufacturing). Effective partnership with country manufacturing finance team.
- Innovate: Identify opportunities for automation/robotization in preparation of analysis. Work closely with other related parties, peers and seek external benchmark to propose further efficiencies, best practices and improvements.
- Manage: Management and alignment with country finance team of COGS planning timetable. Participate in projects led by country team related with new launches, CAPEX investments and calculation of new scenarios. Identify and implement relevant proactive checks and measures to minimize mistakes. Multitasking period-end closing and planning activities during preparation of Business plan and Rolling estimate and monitoring of process of material master data creation – ensure input is sufficient and correct.
- Deliver: COGS planning delivered on-time and with appropriate analysis and preparation of comprehensive period-end analysis of COGS and Raw & Pack variance analysis on time with appropriate narratives. Deliver analysis of export and import products; make Factor analysis and provide narratives incorporating the route cause for deviations in prices of raw materials; Ad-hoc requests coming from country finance team in area of COGS.

- Knowledge of established finance and business processes.
- Cross-functional understanding.
- Experience of ERP is essential, and knowledge of SAP is advantage.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with complex datasets is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- University Degree in Finance, Economics or Administration field.
- A minimum of 2 years financial or accounting experience, preferably gained within FMCG & multinational company.
- Experience in Supply Chain Finance will be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in presenting complex information to a variety of audiences
- Experience in handling multiple tasks and working with tight deadlines
- Exposure to complex projects requiring multi-functional team working.
