Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description
- The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards to ensure production efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, cutting, etc.) to perform precision machining tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine machine setup and operation requirements.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Inspect and measure finished products to verify conformity with specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any malfunctions or defects.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to resolve production issues.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
- OND / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related fields.
- Specialized training in CNC machine operation is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2 – 5 years of proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and related tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
