Job Title: Civil Projects Engineer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary
- Highly skilled and motivated Civil Projects Professional to oversee and manage construction and infrastructure projects.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and successful completion of civil projects, ensuring compliance with standards, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Design
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure feasibility.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for project execution and management
- Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor quality control standards and ensure adherence to design and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays in projects, compliance and safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain a safe working environment for all workers. stakeholder communication
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, clients, and management.
- Address client queries and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables, documentation, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and correspondence.
- Prepare and submit project completion reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Optional Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, etc.) is a plus.
- 10 years + of experience in civil project management, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing specific types of projects, e.g., buildings, road works, refurbishments, etc.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and project management tools.
- Proficient in using software like AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations and building codes.
