Job Title: C&I Solar Sales Engineer

Job Description
- Our client is looking to engage competent and experienced C&I Solar system Sales Manager to design suitable solar solutions to help meet our Commercial & Industrial clients’ needs.
- He or she will work with the Head of Engineering to understand the client’s power needs, conduct detailed site audits, and design custom solutions to meet the client’s objectives using relevant design tools.
- We are seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and well-organized individuals with a focus on continuous improvement to exceed expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Technical:
- Conduct site/energy audits and analyze customer needs.
- Develop Comprehensive cost model to determine Solar energy tariff for various product offerings.
- Produce comprehensive technical and commercial offers.
- Determine the cost of the power system in coordination with internal key stakeholders.
- Present and demonstrate our solar energy products and solutions to clients, highlighting their features, benefits, and ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solar energy solutions tailored to clients’ specific requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the sales process.
General:
- Assist in market research and identify solar energy projects in Africa.
- Act as Single Point of Contact to construction vendors in technical related matters.
- Conduct equipment research to identify and recommend equipment for individual solutions.
- Review technological trends in the local and global energy sector.
- Liaise with regulatory and governmental institutions as required.
- Build and Develop product costing models tat shows CBA, IRR, cashflow analysis, and cost forecasts using excel sheet.
Working condition:
- Approximately 30% of time will be spent in office environments, 30% work virtually, and 40% time will be spent in the field.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years’ work experience in solar power industry, preferably in Commercial and Industrial renewable energy system design, installing and/or maintaining solar systems.
- NEMSA Certification / COREN Membership will be an added advantage.
Competency:
- Computer proficiency required: Creating spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Software Programs (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
- Use of software like HOMER, Pvsyst, Helioscope, and Open Solar.
- Excellent understanding of energy loggers (Emonio, PEL103/104, Fluke).
Language Proficiency:
- English (excellent oral & writing skills).
- French (oral & writing skills) will be an added advantage.
Character:
- A self-motivated individual that demonstrates a sense of ownership with a high level of commitment and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Passionate about the quality of workmanship.
- Good communication skills and good team leadership ability.
- Flexible to travel domestically and internationally.
Salary
N400,000 / Month.
