We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: CEO / Board of Directors

Job Summary

• The CCO ensures the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements and develops internal controls to minimize risk. 
• The role involves oversight of AML/CFT programs, regulatory reporting, internal audits, and compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a robust compliance program.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, ensuring timely updates to internal policies.
• Lead AML/CFT initiatives, including KYC, suspicious activity reporting, and agent monitoring.
• Liaise with regulators (e.g., CBN, EFCC, NFIU) and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and internal audits.
• Train staff on compliance and ethical business conduct.
• Ensure compliance in all regions of operation, including branch and agent-level activities.
• Provide reports to the board and escalate major compliance risks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CCEP, CRCMP) preferred.
• 7+ years in financial services compliance or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, especially for mobile money operations.

Salary and Benefits
N200,000 Monthly + PFA + HMO.
