Job Title: Chartered Finance Manager

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a talented Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • The Finance Manager will play a key role in driving business growth, improving financial performance, and developing our financial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth and strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including management accounts, board reports, and external audits.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity price risks.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards, including tax laws, accounting standards, and company secretarial requirements.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, and financial reporting,
  • Certifications: Professional certifications, such as CFA, CA, or ACCA.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the agric sector, manufacturing industry.

Digital Skills:

  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or SAP BPC.

  • Salary: N600,000 – N800,000 Monthly.
