We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Certified Welder
Location: Ikorodu Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality welding work on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate welding.
- Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and submerged arc welding machines.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure welds meet industry standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with other welders, fabricators, and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Develop and implement welding procedures and techniques to optimize quality and efficiency.
- Meet production deadlines and deliver high-quality welded products.
Required Skills
- Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with various welding processes and materials.
- Strong understanding of welding principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in welding or a related field preferred.
- Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent certification (e.g., AWS, ASME).
