Overview
- In a bid to meet the demands that come with expansion, one of our pacesetting clients in Apo,the heart of Abuja – an outstanding institution with rich curriculum – calls for applications from qualified/certified EYFS educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning Activities: Design and implement engaging child-led activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe children’s progress, document their development, and communicate findings with parents and other professionals to tailor learning experiences.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including meeting their physical care needs such as feeding and changing.
- Support Development: Foster communication, language, numeracy, and literacy skills through play and structured activities, helping children develop essential life skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with especially parents, colleagues, and possibly external agencies to support children’s learning and development, ensuring a holistic approach to education.
- This role is vital in laying the foundation for children’s future learning and development, making it a rewarding career for those passionate about early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Degree in early childhood education
- At least two years post-NYSC experience in EYFS
- Proven experience as an Early Childhood Educator
- Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
- Dynamicand creative
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Certificate in first aid and CPR.
Salary
N130,000 – N150,000 monthly.
