Job Description
- The CCR Officer at the Packing Plant in Ibese will oversee the central control room operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely packing of products.
- The role involves monitoring and controlling the packing processes, coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal production output and quality standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor the entire packing process from the control room and ensure optimal operation of all equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting packing plant equipment and coordinating maintenance when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and safety regulations during packing operations.
- Conduct regular checks on the quality of packed products and immediately report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize packing schedules and minimize downtime.
- Document and maintain records of packing operations including production reports, discrepancies, and maintenance activity.
- Train new staff on CCR operations and packing procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a packing plant or production environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using control room monitoring systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational conditions.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify and assess hazards
- Ability to integrate safety requirements into the decision-making process
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
