Job Title: CCR Officer, Packing Plant

Job Description

  • The CCR Officer at the Packing Plant in Ibese will oversee the central control room operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely packing of products.
  • The role involves monitoring and controlling the packing processes, coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal production output and quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor the entire packing process from the control room and ensure optimal operation of all equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting packing plant equipment and coordinating maintenance when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and safety regulations during packing operations.
  • Conduct regular checks on the quality of packed products and immediately report any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize packing schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Document and maintain records of packing operations including production reports, discrepancies, and maintenance activity.
  • Train new staff on CCR operations and packing procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.

Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a packing plant or production environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using control room monitoring systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational conditions.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to identify and assess hazards
  • Ability to integrate safety requirements into the decision-making process
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills and document management.
