Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service Officer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will handle financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in cash handling, and the ability to resolve customer inquiries effectively.

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers warmly and address their inquiries.
  • Assist customers in locating items and provide advice or product recommendations.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information to ensure satisfaction.
  • Operate scanners, cash registers, and related electronic systems.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Issue accurate receipts to customers and ensure proper recording in the organization’s database.
  • Reconcile the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any discrepancies detected in transactions and escalate issues with equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation of refunds and exchanges in line with company policies.
  • Accurately capture all patient or customer information during registration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
  • Proficiency in operating POS systems, cash registers, and other related electronics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.

Salary
N120,000 monthly net + HMO.
