Job Title: Cashier
Location: Osongama Estate, Uyo – Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Part-time
Job Summary
- The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing excellent service at the checkout counter, and supporting smooth pharmacy operations.
- This role ensures efficient cash management, assists with basic customer inquiries, and maintains a clean and organized checkout area.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and process sales transactions (cash, card, or electronic payments) using the POS system.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges in line with store policies.
- Assist customers with bagging or packaging their purchases.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and prepare daily cash reports.
- Support stock management by checking, labeling, and displaying items near the checkout counter.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS operations.
- Good numeracy and attention to detail.
Salary
N40,000 – N45,000 / Month.
