We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Greet and attend to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Handle all cash, card, and POS transactions efficiently and accurately
- Issue tickets, receipts, or change due to customers
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
- Maintain accurate daily records of all transactions
- Ensure proper documentation and handover of funds to authorized personnel
- Follow established procedures for financial transactions, including refunds or voids
- Escalate any suspicious activity or discrepancies to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashiering point
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries or complaints professionally
- Comply with all company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 – 2 years experience.
Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 / Month.
