Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary
- A reputable filling station located in Oregun, Lagos is urgently seeking to hire a diligent and trustworthy Cashier to manage daily cash and sales transactions.Â
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle large volumes of cash with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Accurately handle and record cash, POS, and transfer transactions from fuel attendants.
- Reconcile sales records at the end of each shift/day.
- Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation of all transactions.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in daily accounts.
- Ensure proper balancing of sales and remittance to management.
- Support fuel attendants and management with accurate data for stock and sales reporting.
- Keep the cashier booth clean, organised, and professional.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a courteous attitude.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification; additional certifications in accounting or business are a plus.
- Prior experience in a cashier or cash-handling role (especially in a fuel station) is an advantage.
- Strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
- Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must reside in or around Oregun, Ikeja or be able to commute reliably.
Salary
N110,000 / Month.
