Location: Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • A reputable filling station located in Oregun, Lagos is urgently seeking to hire a diligent and trustworthy Cashier to manage daily cash and sales transactions. 
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle large volumes of cash with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Accurately handle and record cash, POS, and transfer transactions from fuel attendants.
  • Reconcile sales records at the end of each shift/day.
  • Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in daily accounts.
  • Ensure proper balancing of sales and remittance to management.
  • Support fuel attendants and management with accurate data for stock and sales reporting.
  • Keep the cashier booth clean, organised, and professional.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a courteous attitude.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification; additional certifications in accounting or business are a plus.
  • Prior experience in a cashier or cash-handling role (especially in a fuel station) is an advantage.
  • Strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
  • Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must reside in or around Oregun, Ikeja or be able to commute reliably.

Salary
N110,000 / Month.
