About the Role
- Our client, a reputable power company based in Abuja, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Expert to join their team.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project managers and teams throughout the project acquisition and implementation process — ensuring smooth coordination with international partners, effective communication, and accurate documentation.
- This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong administrative, communication, and coordination skills, and an interest in international development and the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Acquisition & Implementation: Independently prepare pre-qualification documents, select relevant project references, draft expert qualifications, and manage all related correspondence in English (French is an asset).
- Bid Preparation: Support the technical manager in preparing bids, contacting partners/subcontractors, reviewing donor platform requirements, and ensuring timely submission of proposals.
- Deadline Management & Reporting: Track and manage project timelines, assist with editing, formatting, and quality control of reports.
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with donors, project partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Administrative & Organizational Support: Provide cross-functional assistance within the team to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Degree in Languages, International Relations, International Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 4 – 5 years Previous experience in project assistance, coordination, or translation of technical content (experience in infrastructure or construction projects is an advantage).
- Technical Skills: Strong MS Office proficiency (especially Word formatting and editing). Familiarity with Office 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint is desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; additional language proficiency (especially French) is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities, attention to detail, and flexibility.
Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
