Role Overview
- The Business Development Officer – Humanitarian Aid (HAID) is responsible for identifying and delivering value-driven solutions to stakeholders within the Humanitarian Aid and Development sector.
- This role plays a critical part in driving business growth through strategic engagement with INGOs, NGOs, UN agencies, and donor organizations.
- The officer will focus on building strong relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and positioning the company as a trusted sourcing and supply partner within the sector.
- Key objectives include deepening institutional partnerships, increasing bid pipeline quality, and contributing to the company’s visibility and credibility across humanitarian procurement networks.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in related field
- 2+ years in proposal writing, bid coordination, or business development within the Humanitarian Aid, NGO, or Development sector
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and donor requirements (e.g., UN agencies, USAID, DFID/FCDO, EU, INGOs).
- Must have B2B Sales knowledge
- Excellent communication & attention to detail.
