Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Learning & Development Consultant with a strong blend of business development and training delivery expertise. This role is ideal for a professional who can source and close training deals, design client-specific learning solutions, and lead training sessions from planning to post-training evaluation.
  • You will play a dual role: generating training business for the firm and delivering impactful learning programs to client organizations across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development:

  • Identify, pitch, and secure training contracts with new and existing clients.
  • Build strong relationships with HR managers, business leaders, and decision-makers across industries.
  • Develop proposals, pricing, and customized training solutions based on client needs.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets for training and development services.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.

Training Design & Delivery:

  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning objectives.
  • Design engaging training content and materials (e.g., slides, manuals, workbooks).
  • Facilitate high-impact classroom, virtual, or blended learning sessions.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and submit post-training reports to clients.
  • Continuously improve training content based on feedback and evolving industry trends.

Requirements

  • HND/BSc in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in L&D, training facilitation, or consulting, with a proven track record of generating training business.
  • Certification in L&D, HR, or Training (e.g., CIPM, ATD, SHRM, HRCI) is mandatory.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication abilities.
  • Ability to design content using PowerPoint, Canva, LMS, or other instructional tools.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
