Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Objective
- To create business partnerships, identify new opportunities, and develop new revenue streams by establishing collaborations between the company and Computer Village shops/ phone markets within Lagos State/ and outside Lagos State
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify potential partners within Computer Village.
- Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain relationships with shops in Computer Village.
- Negotiate and sign partnership agreements with various businesses.
Revenue Growth:
- Identify and create new revenue streams through partnerships.
- Drive business growth by signing up different businesses to collaborate with the company.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings within Computer Village.
- Develop actionable insights and strategies to leverage market opportunities.
Business Proposal Development:
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and other sales-related materials for potential partners.
- Present business opportunities to potential partners convincingly.
Networking:
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to establish connections and explore partnership opportunities.
- Maintain active engagement with partners to ensure long-term relationships.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure successful integration and execution of partnerships.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support partnership initiatives.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze the performance of partnership initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on partnership activities and outcomes for senior management.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all partnership agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of partnership agreements and transactions.
Key Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the tech or retail sectors.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- A good understanding of the tech market and retail environment, especially in Computer Village.
Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.
