Job Title: Business Development Intern (Corps Member)

Location: Abuja (Hybrid – Remote with Periodic Office Visits)

About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive and creative Business Development Intern (Corper) to join our client’s team in Abuja.
  • This role is ideal for a driven individual who is passionate about business growth, client acquisition,  and relationship management.
  • You’ll gain hands-on experience in professional communication, digital  outreach, and strategic business development in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business development team in identifying, prospecting, and converting leads into clients.
  • Conduct cold calling, cold emailing, and follow-up communications to generate business opportunities.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
  • Engage clients professionally across multiple communication channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, and meetings).
  • Conduct research to identify potential markets and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design business materials and digital content using Canva.
  • Manage reports, client databases, and schedules using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Participate in periodic in-person meetings and project assignments at the office.

Requirements

  • Must be a current NYSC Corp Member serving in Abuja or a young graduate (OND / NCE / BSc) seeking hands-on business experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Canva or other design platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident and comfortable initiating contact via cold calls and emails.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Strong interest in sales, client relations, and business growth.

Benefits

  • Remuneration: Base Salary: N60,000 – N80,000 Monthly
  • Performance Bonus: N20,000 – N40,000
