Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by selling laboratory equipment and chemicals to clients in the food and beverage sector, healthcare organizations, and NGOs.
- The role involves identifying new market opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and overseeing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
- Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
- Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
- Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
- Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in a related field (laboratory equipment, chemicals, healthcare, food & beverage, or similar industries)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong ability to generate leads and close sales deals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers at all levels
- Ability to effectively negotiate terms and close sales while ensuring long-term client satisfaction
