Job Title: Business Development Consultant

Locations: Ibadan – Oyo and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday

Summary

  • We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial and results-oriented Business Development Consultant to lead and transform her revenue and market expansion efforts.

Responsibilties

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Identify high-potential sectors for business consulting and third-party management services across Nigeria and West Africa.
  • Build and manage a new Business Development unit from the ground up, including hiring, training, and leadership.
  • Craft and present compelling business proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks.
  • Engage directly with CEOs, founders, investors, and decision-makers to initiate and close deals.
  • Lead market research efforts to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for value-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client delivery, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Represent company at strategic business meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Set and meet aggressive performance targets (monthly/quarterly/annual).

Requirements

  • Qualification: HND / BSc
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
  • Proven Entrepreneur – with strong business-building and market-penetration experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow client base and convert high-value opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian and West African markets, B2B/B2G/B2C landscapes.
  • Excellent proposal writing, pitch development, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-starter, relentless executor, and deeply committed to results.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, digital sales platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field

Preferred qualitiies:

  • Sharp business acumen and resilience in tough market conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to lead with integrity, inspire teams, and build trust-based relationships.

Salary
N150,000 – N300,000 monthly (Negotiable).
