Job Title: Business Development and Client Relations Manager

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As the Business Development and Client Relations Manager, you will play a key role in driving  the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, sourcing global clients, and building long-term relationships.
  • You will act as a liaison between clients and our software development team, ensuring their needs are understood and met effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition:

  • Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities globally.
  • Develop and execute strategies to source and secure clients in need of software development and talent outsourcing services.
  • Conduct market research to understand client industries and trends.

Client Relations Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their project requirements and ensuring clear communication.
  • Work closely with the software development team to align project deliverables with client expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding project progress and address concerns promptly.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Create and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Networking and Branding:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to increase brand visibility.

Reporting and Strategy:

  • Maintain records of client interactions, deals, and project outcomes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business development strategies based on client feedback and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years proven experience in business development, sales, or client relations, preferably in the tech or software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development and IT outsourcing services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • A global mindset with the ability to work across cultures and time zones.
