Job Summary
- We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeperto join our construction firm.
- The ideal candidate will uphold the integrity of our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our financial operations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and expense tracking.
- Oversee inventory records and ensure consistency with physical stock.
- Process payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure records reflect reality.
- Generate periodic financial reports to aid management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant external regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
- Assist in budgeting processes and financial planning activities.
Requirements
- OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience; construction industry experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software tools.
- Exhibits high integrity with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
