Job Title: Boiler and Fuel Blend Operator
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated Boiler and Fuel Blend Operator to join our team at the BULK EMULSION-SME Plant.
- The role involves ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and maintenance of boiler systems and fuel blending processes in a hazardous chemical and explosive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain boiler systems, including Electric Boiler and Steam Boiler.
- Blend and monitor fuel mixtures in the Fuel Blend Reactor and Oxidizing Blend Reactor.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment such as the Screw Compressor and Hydraulic Systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and fuel blending processes.
- Hands-on experience in boiler operation and fuel blending in hazardous chemical or explosive industries.
- Expertise in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with PLC systems integrated with HMI is preferred.
Requirements
- HND or B.Engin Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Trade certification or vocational training in boiler operation and fuel blending is advantageous.
- Safety training for hazardous environments is a plus.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Familiarity with boiler operation and fuel blending processes.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous environments.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Candidates residing within close proximity such as kaduna, Abuja and Niger State will be given priority consideration.
