Job Title: Boiler and Fuel Blend Operator

Location: 
Gujeni, Kaduna

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Boiler and Fuel Blend Operator to join our team at the BULK EMULSION-SME Plant.
  • The role involves ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and maintenance of boiler systems and fuel blending processes in a hazardous chemical and explosive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain boiler systems, including Electric Boiler and Steam Boiler.
  • Blend and monitor fuel mixtures in the Fuel Blend Reactor and Oxidizing Blend Reactor.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment such as the Screw Compressor and Hydraulic Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and fuel blending processes.
  • Hands-on experience in boiler operation and fuel blending in hazardous chemical or explosive industries.
  • Expertise in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with PLC systems integrated with HMI is preferred.

Requirements

  • HND or B.Engin Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Trade certification or vocational training in boiler operation and fuel blending is advantageous.
  • Safety training for hazardous environments is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Familiarity with boiler operation and fuel blending processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous environments.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Candidates residing within close proximity such as kaduna, Abuja and Niger State will be given priority consideration.
