HRLeverage Africa – Our client, an Inflight Catering Services Provider, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Bakery Chef de Partie
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Preparation and arrangement of materials to be used for meal preparation before work begins
- Prepare the baked meals for airlines using the menu specifications provided and communicated safety guidelines
- Preparation of all baked items within set deadlines to avoid delay
- Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef -in- Charge and Executive Chef
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Customer Satisfaction.
- Compliance with Chefs recipes process and specified menus
- Timely preparation of meals
- Compliance with the internal guidelines, policies and strategies.
- Compliance with HACCP rules.
- Develop and implement job rotation plan
- Succession Planning
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years relevant baking experience in high volume multi-menu food operation
- Culinary degree, OND or equivalent qualification
- Working knowledge of food safety service and procedure
- Basic communication skills
- Fluent English, written and spoken
