Job Title: Baker – Viennoiserie Specialist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Baker with expertise in Viennoiserie to join our team at Chocolat Royal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide variety of viennoiserie products from scratch, including but not limited to:
    • Croissants
    • Pain au chocolat
    • Danishes
    • Brioche
    • Donuts.
  • Ensure precise lamination and dough preparation techniques for optimal product quality.
  • Follow best practices in proofing, baking, and finishing to maintain high standards.
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate inventory needs proactively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor`s Degree
  • 1 – 3 years proven experience baking viennoiserie items in a professional kitchen or bakery.
  • Strong understanding of dough lamination and fermentation processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
