Position Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor (Male) to join our dynamic team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and providing actionable recommendations to improve our operations and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures across business operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of weakness or non-compliance.
- Review and monitor transactions, approvals, and financial records to detect discrepancies or violations.
- Evaluate internal processes related to property acquisition, leasing, sales, and facility management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (e.g., procurement, payment cycles, project execution).
- Collaborate with department heads to correct deficiencies and strengthen control mechanisms.
- Perform regular audits of business units and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on internal control standards and best practices.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Any other duties as it applies to internal control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN, ACCA is an advantage).
- Proven experience in internal or external auditing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit practices.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Age Requirement: Not more than 32 years by December 2025.
Remuneration
N250,000 monthly (Net).
