Job Title: Audit and Tax Intern
Location: Sabo Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Assist with property tax and sales/use filings
- Perform tax research and technical analysis
- Gather data as needed to respond to notices and audits
- Engage with various individuals across the company
- Learn about various information technology systems and the processes in place to protect these systems
- Understand the importance of the Internal Audit process
- Preparing a variety of financial reports (audits, reviews, compilations, and tax returns)
- Auditing a diverse mix of entities
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related disciplines.
- 0 -1 Years experience in the role.
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets and excellent presentation skills
- Thorough understanding of business requirements and problem-solving skills
- Interest and ability in math and financial systems
- taxation law certifications and other relevant courses
- Knowledgeable of technical trends in theindustry
- Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and constantly meet deadlines.
