Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened : mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care. The French section is present in about thirty countries.
As part of’a replacement, we are looking for a Assistant to the· private fund-raising department.
Mission :
The mission of the’assistant· of the private fundraising department is to facilitate the’organization and circulation of’information within the department, and, with the other departments and the international movement and with the’ exterior, d’insure the conservation and the’archiving of documents and perform various tasks related to the activities of the department.
Primary responsibilities :
Under the responsibility of the management of the private fundraiser and in interface with the’ services, the’assistant· of the department has the following missions:
Support to the life of’team :
- You organize and animate the system of department meetings and service managers: participate in the definition of agendas and the organization of meetings, etc, write the reports and ensure their dissemination.
- You are the’ entry point of the Collection department to the assistants of the other departments.
Administrative and HR management :
- You ensure the administrative and HR management of the whole department (monitoring absences, contract requests, interface with HR, booking meeting rooms, tracking invoices and expense reports, etc, ’hotel reservations and train tickets /plane, supplies etc..) and follow the budget of the management.
- You participate in the recruitment process (publication of ads, follow-up with the recruitment service..). You take care of the briefing of new arrivals in the department and you ensure the proper appropriation of the tools used by the department to promote transversality.
- You provide support to the’ whole department in case of emergency’ collection or one-off projects.
’information and internal communication management :
- You organize the circulation, the backup, the hierarchization and the’organization of the information shared by the whole department. In this sense, you are the/referent· on all issues of’archiving (physical and electronic).
- You participate in the internal communication of the department in particular via the writing of’a letter d’info weekly and the’animation of the page of the department collected on the’intranet.
- You participate in the editorial committee of the MSF France internal newsletter.
Organization events :
- You provide support to the services/department in the case of’organization of meetings, seminars, events related to private fundraising.
Support to the Collection Directorate :
- Organisation of agendas, budget monitoring, etc.
Development of transversality and sectoral monitoring :
- You contribute to the development of transversality with the other services/departments of MSF.
- You ensure sector monitoring and coordination with professional bodies of fundraising in France (AFF / France Generosities).
- You facilitate exchanges with the international office within the framework of capacity building (registration of teams to international working groups, dissemination of information to the’ team, coordination assistance, etc.).
Profile sought:
Training : Bac +3 minimum.
Experience :
You have a particular interest in the’humanitaire, and 3 years of’minimum professional experience in a similar position.
Skills : Mastery of the office pack, good writing and communication skills.
Languages : Common French and English (oral, written)
Status : CDI on a full-time basis. Post based in Paris.
Conditions :
40,24K€ gross annual over 13 months.
22 Days of RTT per year. Complementary health care 100% supported by Doctors Without Borders. Titles restaurants d’a face value of 11€ (60% support by Doctors Without Borders). Support at 50% of the public transport ticket. 2 days of telework per week.
