Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Job Summary
- The Ideal candidate for each role will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s sales in the cosmetic/beauty sector.
- This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, and driving sales growth through effective promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the cosmetic/beauty sector
- Identify and target potential clients and key accounts in the Nigerian market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional activities and campaigns
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets and provide them with ongoing support and guidance
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the management team
- Manage the sales budget and ensure all activities are within the allocated budget
- Continuously analyse and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in modern trade sales, preferably in the consumer goods industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the cosmetic/beauty sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions based on market trends and insights
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a sales team
