Job Title: Asset Managment Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • The Asset Management Officer will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s asset portfolio. This role involves evaluating asset performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing risk, conducting asset analysis, and optimizing asset utilization.
  • The officer will work closely with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure that all assets are well-maintained, productive, and properly valued to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience (usually 2-5 years) in asset management or a similar role, preferably within finance, real estate, or related industries.
  • Proficient in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management.
  • Certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are advantageous.
  • Experience with legal compliance and regulatory issues related to asset management.
